Located at 8312 Main Street in downtown Osoyoos, Brtitish Columbia, the Osoyoos Credit Union has been serving its members since 1946! As the largest branch of any financial institution located in Osoyoos, our members look to us for superior service and competitive financial products.

The Osoyoos Credit Union is a community based organization and as such proudly supports many community activities either through direct participation or donations. Our slogan, "That's the Spirit of Community Pride!" is actually much more than just a slogan, it is a symbol of our commitment to our community, where we all work and live together!

In 2006 Osoyoos Credit Union Celebrated its 60th Anniversary. From early 2006 to December 2006 we celebrated with the Community of Osoyoos through sponsoring a pioneer's dinner, business to business meeting, and the development of a Historical Video of Osoyoos and Osoyoos Credit Union. We participated in various parades through out the valley. We sponsored special events at the Rock Creek Fair and hosted a competition for a $60,000 Legacy Award. The rules were every simple, the successful project would:

Be self sustaining in the long run.
Create a lasting legacy within the Osoyoos Credit Union service area.
Support the social, economic and or environmental well being of the Osoyoos Credit Union service area.
Could involve partnerships with other organizations/service clubs.


Our Members voted during the month of September to determine who the winning applicant would be out of the final three; Osoyoos Desert Society, Osoyoos Splash Park Society and the Osoyoos Museum Society and Archives. At our Awards Ceremony, October 19, 2006, Credit Union Day, we announced The Osoyoos Splash Park Society as the successful candidate. Thank you to our entire Membership that participated in the event.

Through these celebrations your Credit Union had another very successful year. Assets grew from just over $89 million to almost $95 million and once again we are pleased to announce our Patronage and Dividend rebates. We will be paying out in excess of $566,000 in Dividends and interest and service charge rebates in early February 2007.
